configure all 3 browsers path-independantly
MaDxCrEaM replied to prathapml's topic in Application Installs
sorry, I missed the part about having to put the full path to the mozilla.inf file which was in the same directory so didn't think it would matter, but I put the full path and now it works. Sorry!!!! -
configure all 3 browsers path-independantly
MaDxCrEaM replied to prathapml's topic in Application Installs
hi. I was wondering If I could get a little help. Installing the inf isn't working correctly. I'm talking about this: rundll32 setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 128 %systemdrive%\install\firefox\mozilla.inf I get install error. I tried switching the 128 to 132 with no luck. If I right click the mozilla inf and choose install, it works fine, it puts the firefox and thunderbird on the start menu perfectly. Anyone think of a reason? I followed prathapml's guide perfectly. Windows XP SP2 i'm using. -

RunOnceEx Screen software install screen to large
MaDxCrEaM replied to painkilla's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
Thanx Alanoll. I didn't have that posted before the exit command, so I'm assuming that is what is wrong. It didn't restart automatically, I restarted windows myself then the second half installed. I'm messing with WPI right now. I will try this when I have time. -

MaDxCrEaM replied to painkilla's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
welll I had mine right, it worked first two times, then the 3rd one didn't. Then I tried just splitting it once, and it still didn't work. It continued after I rebooted the machine. You say one of the programs I'm installing is doing this? Do I have to investigate and put that program in the last split so it will work? Thanks for any info. -

I'm going to be trying this in a bit for the first time to see if it works. @PainKilla because I'm new, I don't know but I can guess. you have this rundll32.exe iernonce.dll,RunOnceExProcess SET KEY=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx REG ADD %KEY% /V TITLE /D "Installing Applications" /f I think you only need to put this though: rundll32.exe iernonce.dll,RunOnceExProcess REG ADD %KEY% /V TITLE /D "Installing Applications" /f I hope I'm right, that is what I'm trying. Maybe the other guys can clear this up before I try my install -

I use start /wait %CDROM%\install\IntelAppAccel\iaa23_enu -a -s -
I would imagine just make the directory on you unnatended cd $OEM$\$$\Fonts Put them there, and they should be copied over during installation. If someone else could clarify this, as I have not tried it myself.

Ok guys, with some help from you, and a little investigation I've found out how to install this thing. I run the msi file with the /QB switch "Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 (en_us).msi /QB" Then I've found the registry entry for registering here: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{851C67EF-068A-4060-9EF5-2E3DDCD68382}] @="" "EPIC_SERIAL"="111111111111111111111111" I've changed numbers to all 1's. Something else helpful, the number isn't the serial, it must change it somehow. Just install, register with your serial, and find this value yourself. Good luck!!

Hey guys, was wondering about this one. I've tried a couple different ways, doesn't seem to work. Anyone found a way to silently install this? Thanks for any help! I've tried the -R to get an iss file, no luck. There is also no Abcpy.ini file. I tried putting the info in the setup.ini file with no luck.

DeeJay's Windows XP Unattended Project
MaDxCrEaM replied to djfin's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
FOR TEAMSPEAK!!! What I've done was make an installation package myself. I used Installrite. I took a snapshot, then installed teamspeak, put in server info, and all my settings. Then I took second snapshot, compared, and made an installation package that way. Works great with all my server and settings already to go! -
This works great thanks. For your info EPOKE this is just for registering AFTER flashfxp3 is installed. So do a silent install of FlashfXP3 and then run this script afterwords to register it.
