cut Posted February 17, 2005 Author Share Posted February 17, 2005 ya ya search.. spent half the day doing that already, all i need to know is how to make transparent bitmaps, and why when i test my oem.ini and oemlogo.bmp it does not show in sys properties after i copy them to my system32 folder.. i used the directions fromhttp://unattended.msfn.org/advanced/cosmetics/oeminfo.htmi made my logo in photoshop but it wont let me save bitmaps with transparent backrounds.. SiMoNsAyS Posted February 17, 2005 Share Posted February 17, 2005 (edited) @Alanoll, 0,0 pixel and the last pixel f.e. 150x150 have to be of the same color to be transparent. it also needs to be saved as 256 colors.edit: if you want the image to be 32bits you'll need to create a new alpha layer. search google for tutorials.
