Incroyable HULK Posted January 12, 2005 Author Posted January 12, 2005 Why are you posting link already present on the first page?
Incroyable HULK Posted January 14, 2005 Author Posted January 14, 2005 I added KB873374 -› Microsoft GDI+ Detection Tool in the list of Windows XP SP2 since it was showing up on Windows update after a clean install (with Office 2003)Of course, you can still import this registry tweak instead:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\GdiDetectionTool]"GDITool"=dword:00000001
Zxian Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Hi there,Just a note about the links... The link in the XP-SP1 section for downloading KB889293 actually directs you to the download for KB834707.Cheers!
MAVERICKS CHOICE Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Hulk youre doing a smashing one here, I must say though Ryans spoiling me with his packs find them very favorable in my UA & work well with NLite.
Incroyable HULK Posted January 14, 2005 Author Posted January 14, 2005 @ZxianI corrected the link, thanks!@MAVERICKS CHOICEthanks! Ryan is doing a fine job... but my installations are in French so I cannot use his pack and beside, I like to keep control over my stuff... easier to maintain and to troubleshoot.
JoeMSFN Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Hope providing a link to another (of my) posts doesn't count as cross posting.Yes as far as the Malicious Software Removal Tool KB890830 and registry imports goes...See my post on this.
Incroyable HULK Posted January 14, 2005 Author Posted January 14, 2005 This has already been discussed in the previous page... The registry setting will have to be updated every month since the string will be different
