Acrobat 6.02

Featured Replies

Is there an Acrobat Reader 6.02 installer? I find it very annoying that Adobe's site has only offered 6.01 for quite a while now. Having to update things right after installing them is quite annoying to me.

There is no Acrobat 6.02 installer. And this is quite normal. Adobe and any other software company doesn't make a new installer for every single minor update. So you patch your current installer or just wait for the next major release.

YES, THERE IS AN INSTALLER. as mazin said this has been discussed before on the apps switches subforum. i can't redirect you to the link on the adobe site also i have renamed the update file so i don't remember the old file name. the only thing i can tell you it's its size, 4,14 MB (4.342.088 bytes), good luck on your search :thumbup

edit: sorry i forgot 1 thing, switches for acrobat 6 installer and 6.02 update

start /wait %CDROM%\Software\Acrobat\AdbeRdr60.exe -p"-s /v\"/qn\""

start /wait %CDROM%\Software\Acrobat\AdbeRdr602.exe -p /S /v/qn

THERE IS NO INSTALLER FOR Adobe Reader 6.0.2. !!!!

Quote from Adobe's website

New update: Adobe Reader 6.0.2

Once you have successfully installed Adobe Reader 6.0.1, you may install the new 6.0.2 update. From within Adobe Reader 6.0.1, go to the Help menu, choose Updates, and follow the instructions.

So there is only Adobe Reader 6.0.1 installer and the update to 6.0.2

hey, what about an Adobe Reader 6.0.2 "Lite" Version, without most of the plugins, that just slowdown AR6's startup? ;)

Everybody agrees that there is an installer for the update. What Dragonrage is looking for is an Adobe installer that install Acrobat 6.02 already updated. I don't think it exists. You have to install 6.01 and then install the update.

That's what I'm trying to say ..... :P

YES, THERE IS AN INSTALLER.

It's only the update, not the full installer of 6.02. There is NO FULL installer for 6.02. Neither for Adobe Acrobat 6 nor for Adobe AcrobatReader 6.

You can see this also at ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/.
