  1. You should update. MSXML 4.0 does not replace MSXML 3.0 because some obsolete and non-conformant features are not supported. You may run MSXML 4.0 and MSXML 3.0 and earlier versions concurrently. But MSXML 5.0? Sure? I don't know any release of MSXML 5.0.
  2. You can replace all files you want on CD, there is no kick by WFP after install. concurrent connections doesn't relate to tcpip hack. The tcpip hack does relate the half-concurrent connections.
  3. You will always find new drivers by 3com >> here (FTP link)
  4. Repartition= Yes HDD 1 will completly delete (all partitions) HDD 2 and so on keep alive
  5. Hm, dann ist das Problem wohl verschiedener Art bei den Treibern. in English Than are the problems different for drivers.
  6. If you set OemPreinstall=Yes you also must set [GuiUnattended] OEMSkipWelcome = 1
  7. No. Repartition=Yes delete ALL partitions on first drive.
  8. Ja, hast du. 1. set registry keys (from first post) 2. install drivers that has resolve this problem for my unattended install
  9. You can SP2 integrate into XP CD with SP1a, that's no problem.
  10. Yes, it's ONLY updated tcpip.sys. No more other files or registry keys.
  11. I have the german update. If you want use update file you need the coorect update for your language. If want only update tcpip.sys you must extract the file tcpip.sys and than you can use it. The included single file tcpip.sys is in all updates the same. It has language english. You get also an error with german update file, because it has different language in installer to your OS. You need the included tcpip.sys and not the installer in wrong language. If you wish I can post the german update or the not patched tcpip.sys. @enuffsaid It say for language: english
  12. The tcpip.sys in SP2 is in german as in englisch exactly the same file and update of tcpip.sys (2505) is also exactly the same file in both. tcpip.sys contains NO language informations, so it is the same file in all language versions of SP2 and in the update to 2505.
  13. I think tcpip.sys is in all language the same. I have a german OS and tcpip.sys is exactly the same as in english OS. tcpip.sys contains no language informations. You can use the hacked tcpip.sys to replace.
  14. I believe you are talking about the modifications to your admin-point (also referred to as "server image"). If so, won't those deletions make the installer complain about missing files? No, nothing is missing. I had create a new MSI file.
