No we aren't just yet - if lots of us have autoruns to be posted, then maybe a different autoruns thread could be viable (but only if you did not use the attachments feature to post scrshots).

The autorun guide is almost same as what harunaksoy has above, I think.

And the raw resources to compile using Autoplay Media Studio 4.0 (you'll result in the autorun scrshots he posted a few posts above) too. Thanks to him for sharing with us.

Not a permanent link - get the files ASAP, if you want it. Do not give this link outside of MSFN forums. Had to host it since more people here were interested....

1. guide

2. resources for autorun

Hi

I am making a custom dvd and trying to make a custom menu. I have the menu made but need to add the actions to each button when you click them. I am trying to get the menu to act the same way as the original setup.exe, however, when i use restuner to look at the strings of the original setup.exe, the files it is pointing to doesnt make sense, like winnt.exe for instance, doesnt work on 32 bit applications but the string is there and when you click on setup windows xp on the original menu it works, but not if i point to it on my custom DVD.

Can anyone offer any advice of what to add to the button attributions to replicate the original setup.exe?

I am using autoplay 4.

Thanks if you can help

Harunaksoy,

One question, you point directly to the "SETUP\XPPRO\" folder.

How do you boot the a win98 or win2K or Win2k3 or Longhorn or ERD2003 ??
