if you went to an online store, for pc parts and accessories. what kinds of things would you expect them to stock, as in brands and models of things?

Eg, id expect anyone selling thermal paste to sell Arctic silver.

id expect anyone selling mice to sell logitec and microsoft optical models and wireless ones too.. etc

Ideally I'd like things splitup into categories more. So you could have a section for 'Cooling', and split that into 'Chassis', 'CPU', 'GFX CARD', 'HD', and so on and so forth. Sections for things like 'Silent Cooling' and whatnot would be nice.

...but for motherboards, I'd expect ASUS, QDI, GIGABYTE, SOYO and MSI. Wouldn't buy another ABIT anything if you paid me.

If you live in the UK, www.scan.co.uk is a good place to go. Check out there today only page they have some good deals on there.

But going back to your question, I expect them to stock the usual gear, Gfx Cards, Mobo's, Drives that sort of stuff. Some of these places that do the specialist PC kit, like for serious PC nuts it's so annoying when stuff is advertised on there sites and then they are out of stock for weeks.

Thanks,

HM
