FthrJACK Posted July 23, 2002 Posted July 23, 2002 if you went to an online store, for pc parts and accessories. what kinds of things would you expect them to stock, as in brands and models of things?Eg, id expect anyone selling thermal paste to sell Arctic silver.id expect anyone selling mice to sell logitec and microsoft optical models and wireless ones too.. etc
Drewdatrip Posted July 24, 2002 Posted July 24, 2002 Dont forget abit...me likes them....as well as Mushkin,Micron, and corsair ram -Drew
DJ_VuDuu Posted August 5, 2002 Posted August 5, 2002 Good cpu coolers, other case and hd coolers, case mods, many things to waste money on for my computer... ati cards, turtle beach and creative sound cards.
Snoop Posted August 6, 2002 Posted August 6, 2002 creative sound cardsNOOOOOO! they are the devils work and usually the one thing that causes problems in PC'S!im going to replace mine with hercules new 7.1 soundcard when it comes out
TheDayStalker Posted August 6, 2002 Posted August 6, 2002 Ideally I'd like things splitup into categories more. So you could have a section for 'Cooling', and split that into 'Chassis', 'CPU', 'GFX CARD', 'HD', and so on and so forth. Sections for things like 'Silent Cooling' and whatnot would be nice....but for motherboards, I'd expect ASUS, QDI, GIGABYTE, SOYO and MSI. Wouldn't buy another ABIT anything if you paid me.
HudsonManx Posted August 6, 2002 Posted August 6, 2002 If you live in the UK, www.scan.co.uk is a good place to go. Check out there today only page they have some good deals on there. But going back to your question, I expect them to stock the usual gear, Gfx Cards, Mobo's, Drives that sort of stuff. Some of these places that do the specialist PC kit, like for serious PC nuts it's so annoying when stuff is advertised on there sites and then they are out of stock for weeks. Thanks,HM
FthrJACK Posted August 6, 2002 Author Posted August 6, 2002 delivery will be 2 - 4 days depending if item is in stock.and beter than scan will be my store shouldnt be long, everyone pretty much put the kinda things i expected, the kinda things i had intended on anyway, some other ideas too, cheers folks ill spam the forums with the link when finished
Snoop Posted August 6, 2002 Posted August 6, 2002 make sure you stock Fing screws that actually fit the fan and into the heatsink! last time i ordered a pack of fan screws they sent me some stupidly fat things
HudsonManx Posted August 7, 2002 Posted August 7, 2002 Sounds cool, also I had big problems trying to get hold of Corsair memory, it took Overclockers.co.uk 3 weeks.Best of luck!
