I remember those days. I was a very late adopter of XP (2003 or so), because 98 had at the time most of what I needed except (towards the end) stability. I gave up on 98 when I got to this forum. XP vanilla was indeed bad, but nlited and properly tweaked it was/is like the old 98, only more stable with and capable of running more "modern" apps (software at the time).
