Well, then I don't know what else might be needed. I have all the updates installed, as well as all versions of C++ and Net 4.6.2. Does version 136 give the same error? 1

I thought that maybe you have a processor without SSE3 and that's why it won't start. Then you need to write to the developer. Even though he no longer supports Vista, he may be able to tell you what the problem is.

Can you ask for a farewell version that works without updates on 32bit Vista? As I suspect, I had missed one or two telemetry updates (intentionally).

I thought you meant his Firefox builds for 7 and 8. All good then. Whew! 1

Was telemetry added to Vista? Write KB, I'll check what these updates are. Maybe there's something important there. Because I installed all the updates that are available.
NotHereToPlayGames Posted Friday at 01:18 PM Posted Friday at 01:18 PM Windows Telemetry has existed since Windows 2000! But that aside, maybe this will be of use -- https://gist.github.com/xvitaly/eafa75ed2cb79b3bd4e9
NotHereToPlayGames Posted Friday at 01:20 PM Posted Friday at 01:20 PM Ooops, sorry, the thread title had me looking for Win7 but you did cite Vista.

Thanks, but my goal is to have a browser that doesn't need those dubious, over or almost a decade old "updates". Those threats they addressed in the previous century, are no threats any longer. Will you help me?
