Hello,

I am trying to get the images and videos off of an iphone, but Windows 7 keeps giving me an error that claims the parameter is not correct. So far, I've tried to alter the iphone's picture settings to set photo imports to originals over automatic, but the error still persists.

Is there a solution to export photos onto Windows 7? I am extremely frustrated that apple continues to get away with such malicious practices.

Officially? No snowball chance in hell. Win7 dropped ages ago, somewhere along with Vista. I remember the last time I used the supported version of iTunes to import images was over a decade ago. 2014 or so.

It's not malicious practices per se, You were informed in advance that it only supports 10+. Why did you buy it?

The old iPhone 10SE still works with 7/Vista.

For the young public these days, Win7 is like Win 93. Your best bet would be to use some forensic tools on that phone.

Or maybe purchase some third party paid soft.

Does it show up at all in My Computer when you connect it and allow photo transfer on the phone's screen or this error pops up when you initiate the transfer?

I was able to test on an older iPhone (not 15pro) but updated to IOS 18 and Windows Vista and photo transfer worked there without any iTunes.

The iphone shows up on  my PC but does not allow me to transfer in the midst of the process. I tried changing the media from automatic to original and nothing changed.

Older models allowed to do that, not any longer, and it's been ages since they enforced that policy.

EDIT.

But like I said, some third party paid soft exists.

If so an FTP server on a local network will probably be the easiest transfer method.

As a server you can use an old phone or ISS on a Windows virtual machine (even NT4 server would work)

Hmmm, got any iphone programs that select all media on the phone? I am trying to transport probably 30gb of media.

First and foremost, make sure what they do is up to your needs before you buy or use. As I'm not responsible for your purchases!

EaseUS MobiMover – is an iPhone manager and data transfer tool that makes it easier for you to move or copy files of all kinds from your iPhone to your PC and vice-versa.
