My view will be different than yours but still basically the same process.

Click the down-arrow by your name then click the My Attachments menu item.

Then delete all of the attachments that are no longer needed.

Whatever post you were in the middle of that you couldn't upload will likely need started over after freeing storage space by deleting no-longer-needed attachments.

I didn't see that we were limited, and very limited (max 1.95mb) :)

It's a standard forum practice - we are storing "our files" on "their hardware" so they do have to protect storage space from being abused.

If your attachments are "pictures", you can upload them to a file hosting service but I admit that I seldom (if ever) do that because then a post that would have taken 15 seconds now takes 15 minutes.

I don't always "have" those 15 minutes.  :crazy:

Yes, they need to limit so everyone can have storage
I was doing it until now, hosting the images on a site, until you told me about the limit (never pay attention) :D
