I mean, it was exciting ( to say the very least ) but I was born in 73 and now I enjoy the quiet and change of season. I do have family all over but I have no contact with them anymore. I never owned a Car so have to rely on others when they come by. I live now in disabled housing, and while its not what I'd hoped for, I'm happy overall as I don't see how people afford to support themselves ... sounds like you're doing well.
