Sergiaws Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 I'm wondering if there is a way to convert html5 stuff into accessible flash player content for such old browsers. For such old browsers, I would recommend invidious instances.

SC7601 Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 YouTube on Opera 12.18 (ViewTube + WMP + K-Lite Codec Pack) The video is blank, because Windows can't capture WMP playback screen if ran with hardware acceleration enabled or something IDK. 1
WinFX Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 It's nice to see youtube work in old browsers, I was surprised to see a browser that doesn't support the video tag playing content. By the way, for youtube to show the mobile version, you have to change a parameter in the url, cookie, or google puts it by default in old browsers.

artenox Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Windows Media Player plugin + ViewTube extension or User JS. There is another way, using Flash. But it is very complicated.
