If you`re using windows 11, you can just turn on the kill program option in developer setting in windows official settings.

It would be better if custom taskbar module can add a switch to choose whether the battery icon and network icon should be merged or not. When open the enhanced task bar, icon would be torn apart while official task bar would merge them as a bigger button.

Can the developer please consider adding a custom accent color override in this section?
 
 
After one of the updates it now uses the system accent color, which makes it very hard to see if you use a darker accent color. Top is a picture from 3.7.8, bottom is from latest. As you can see its quite hard to tell the browser is open in the second one.

But it's more the progress bar that you want, I have the impression
Same thing for the Progress bar and it would be great (W10 and 11 explorer)

This changes the taskbar color, I am asking for a color picker for the accent color. The accent color in windows is what is used for that little line under icons to indicate if a program is open. Currently if you use a darker windows accent color, its very hard to see that programs are open unless you use a custom taskbar color that contrasts a lot.

Yes, it's the bar under the icon (same location as the progress bar).
It's true that with older versions of SAB, it was more noticeable (we're still using 3.9bb on Windows 11 24h2, which haven't been updated for some time)
For this and especially for the progress bar which is much more beautiful

Hey guys, can I request a "restart" button around where check for updates is? The issue is that after some weeks of uptime suddenly start menu goes on top of everything - fullscreen games, apps, remote desktop, anything. Nothing helps:

- changing all sort of options to make it refresh

- killing and restarting explorer

- changing position on screen/size/autohide, nothing

Only if I check for updates and there is an update it downloads it and restart and that fixes it... till next time. So please can I have a smallish update with a button to restart it and I'll be happy again, because now it annoys the hell out of me sitting on top of my full screen programs/games

Rebooting takes 30s, i wouldn't let Windows running for weeks personnally ...
