It's the taskbar skin. Not the flyout style. You have it on Plain 8. That's what it looks like. Change it to the default one.

That functionality has been removed by Microsoft. Copilot is a PWA with no system integration anymore not a flyout.

Quick Launch bar submenu "Text not displaying correctly".

Example:
[FolderA]
    Shortcut-A1
    Shortcut-A2
    [Folder-A3]
        Shortcut-A31
        Shortcut-A32
[FolderB]
    Shortcut-B1
    Shortcut-B2

"Shortcut-A31" and "Shortcut-A32" is "Text not displaying correctly".

In addition, I have encountered the same problem in the start menu.

Reporting a bug. When using the taskbar with StartAllBack  3.7.11 , Windows 11 Pro 23H2,  Google Chat app won't show the "red dot" badge on the icon (never combine) when new message comes.

It seems to me that the taskbar has now been ripped from Dev, since today's 26120-1252 doesn't seem to allow having the classic taskbar toggled on. If I'm out to lunch, someone correct me. Using the latest SaB.

For now, I'll wait to hear what's up and, I guess, look into whether Alpha 2 is stable enough to use going forward.

You are correct, it has been removed from .1252, explorer.exe is significantly reduced in size.

I suggest using T2, unless you need autohide it's very stable and almost feature complete. Autohide is now supported.

The only issue I've been having with StartAllBack is the left area of the TaskBar increasing in size and pushing the contents on the right farther to the right.

Other than that, I think this is a life saver, and much more useful than StartIsBack or Stardock's Start11.

Being able to have multiple rows in the TaskBar is the most important feature to me.

For those using a custom theme, we are waiting for the taskbar thumbnails to be fixed 
In the meantime, no problems with the "stable" version

I would say that is probably low on the priority list. I would imagine feature parity will come before full support for custom themes. I suggest you stay on 23H2 as long as you can because 24H2 will launch with the legacy taskbar code removed.

No problems with 24h2 and SAB 3.7.11 (and even without SAB, we have the correct color of the progress bar in the taskbar)
My desktop is still in 23h2 at the moment

Taskbar and Segmentation is working for you?
For me Taskbar is broken with 24H2, like expected.

Yes, no problem with 24h2 retail
Not tested Segmentation

For me explorer crashes/ does not start, when enabling Taskbar in SAB.
I think it's the new update (26120.1252) as mentioned above. (Code changing)
i'll wait for t2 with centering and segmentation.

Yeah maybe, 26120.1252 had changes compared to the "retail" version

The classic taskbar is removed in Dev... it's only a matter of time until that trickles into release preview and then retail. My advice is stay on 23H2 or use T2.
