Did anyone try AG on 1903?

Featured Replies

As the title says. I have mine in a VM, so no use to test AG there.

Yes I tried it on 2 of my machines. It gives the incompatible DWM version message on every startup. Seems to kinda work but the box on startup was annoying so I disabled it for now until an official update is released.

I just got the Windows update to 1903 and AeroGlass doesn't work at all for me.  I get an incompatible version message and it messes up my screen colors.  There are no visual effects and NO transparency.

Can someone shed light on how to fix this?  I'm getting frustrated, and there seems to be little help on this matter.  I know there is an "experimental" version, but when I download it there is only a single .dll file.  How do you install or run it?

Install latest version 1.5.11 in C:\AeroGlass, get the experimental dll. Reboot into safe mode, copy the file over (in C;\AeroGlass), reboot. When the prompt about incompatibility appears, click cancel.

Seems to work if you have the symbols. In my case, the app failed to download the symbols so I had to download them myself.
