erpdude8
I saw this recent topic in the MDL forums about new Win7 SP1 ISOs: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/new-isos.79045/ as well as this blog from this site: https://borncity.com/win/2019/02/15/tip-new-windows-7-sp1-isos-install-image-downloadable/ anyone wanna try out these new Win7 ISOs on their Win7 computers?
vinifera
if they are filled with telemetry, no thanks ! Quote and all telemetry updates are included so no thanks ! Edited February 15, 2019 by vinifera
Radish
No way! Read two threads worth on MDL and the blog piece. Fair mention on MDL that so-called 'telemetry' (aka spy-ware, malware etc.) is included -- who would have guessed, good 'ol Microsoft the company you can trust trying to screw us over again. No Thanks! Plain vanilla original Win7 SP1 ISOs is all we need and the only best option of a 'trust point' we have. erpdude8
yup. you said it dencorso. in the end, I'll just make my own integrated & updated win7 iso with all editions included [aka. AIO] but will leave out the telemetry patches edit 3/2: plus these new win7 ISOs MS had may be too big to download for some users who have a slow DSL or satellite internet connection (and do not include any usb 3.0/3.1 drivers for modern machines that use only usb 3.x ports) Edited March 2, 2019 by erpdude8
albator
I will try them. I use ntlite to disable the telemetry in my build. Does someone know if a windows 8.1 iso was also released ? Edited March 9, 2019 by albator

Guest PretzelsFox
Why do you need the new ISO's? just use the old ones, you know without the telemetry!
erpdude8
it appears that these "new" Win7 ISO downloads have been pulled/removed by MS as I've recently got word from abbodi about them the links to them no longer work
