July 19, 20179 yr there's plenty 256mb graphics cards for windows 98. I have an ATI radeon 9250, but you can certainly do better than that. take a look at the ATI Radeon 9800 https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=radeon+9800&_sacat=0 drivers for the 9800: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/archive/radeonaiw-98me I'm not TOTALLY sure, you may be able to do better than this but i know this model works and is "good". Good for a start, because: 1 slot only passively cooled Supported by a stable official driver (77.72) DVI-D and VGA Example (german ebay): http://www.ebay.de/itm/Gigabyte-GV-N66256DP-Nvidia-GeForce-6600-256MB-DDR-AGP-DVI-VGA-TV-Graphics-Card-/282525062693?epid=56523744&hash=item41c7ce5625:g:flwAAOSwjvJZQTII Once you have more experience, you can experiment with other cards (i.e. GeForce 7600 (GT) AGP 256MB passive). But this one will get you started without a headache.

The sound is not working... The driver is missing I did not find the sound driver for Windows 98... Will you help me??
August 4, 20179 yr The MSI driver listing page seems to be broken for the 98SE audio driver. However if you change the OS to Windows 2000 it shows a download that is supposedly for 98SE as well. Try this. If it doesn't work, you can try obtaining the latest Realtek AC'97 driver directly from Realtek's website.
