My1 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 anyone an Idea why "my" theme causes problems at boot (in fact I need to select standard theme and restart explorer, and then select "my" theme again) to boot my Win10 properly.

My1 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 I use FF as default browser, yet without problems, cortana always opens bing in a new FF tab (I'd rather have google, but whatever)
bigmuscle Posted January 29, 2015 Author Posted January 29, 2015 I updated the links with version which fixes glass safety zone resizing on multiple displays. 4
}SkOrPn--' Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Is this the proper way to uninstall and reinstall to try new version? 1. Delete all files in the C:/AeroGlass folder?2. Use the installer to install the Windows 8.1 latest version?3. Then download, extract the Jan 29th Win10 new version and overwrite the files in AeroGlass folder?4. Then use the same schedual.bat file to get it all started again? Will that work fine to test new version?
endbase Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 That is how I did it except for the shedual.bat

endbase Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 If you install first the 1.3.1 version and overwrite the files with the updates it start automatic with windows 1
}SkOrPn--' Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 If you install first the 1.3.1 version and overwrite the files with the updates it start automatic with windows Haha, OK that was what I was missing then. I did not use the installer originally. I just used the Win10 updated version and found a schedual.bat and used that. I will delete the folder and start from scratch then. Thanks..
bigmuscle Posted January 29, 2015 Author Posted January 29, 2015 For Win10 installation, you should follow the guide, point 2: http://glass8.eu/guide.html If you are unsure about the installation steps then you should not install it at all, because this is only development version intended for testing and not for consumers.
