MagicAndre1981
Please update from Version 6.0.316.0 of NOD32 to the latest version 7.0.302.26 and look if this improves boot. I see a 10s delay after the file C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\x86\eplgOE.dll is loaded.
alee
I'll do that and post here. Lastly, I still feel its my graphics driver since it has given me some errors in the past 2-3 weeks. Thanks for your help.
alee
Updated Nod 32 to the latest version. I'm afraid the problem persists, although, I do feel it has shaved off a second or too. What to do now?

MagicAndre1981
I still see the requestCredentials delay:Have you tried AutoLogon.exe?
alee
Yes Autologon is being used since you told me. I even told you it shaved off 2-3 seconds.EDIT: Secondly the delay is not so much as it is when it is being traced. MagicAndre1981
I have no idea why there is a delay. Buy a valid 8.1 license (don't use a KMS crack ) and reinstall Windows and go directly to 8.1 and see if this fixes it.

MagicAndre1981
you should always use genuine software.Buy a valid license and reinstall.
Oliver84
Dear all,I recently encountered a slow booting Win2012 R2 Server and cannot find the problem. As you can see in the ProcMon Screenshot, the server hangs for approx 10 minutes after/while loading the Regkey HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup. As this server is a VM I can see 100% CPU load for one (1) core of the VM during these 10 minutes.I tried also opening this Regkey with regedit, but it's constantly crashing when trying to open it.Hopefully you can give me some hints.Best,Oliver Edited April 6, 2014 by Oliver84
