Well, it's certainly nice that a List of Official Updates has been provided.

It "might" be the same list as found in the ULZ listed here and WUD referenced here (jcarle utility). Care to confirm that? Not interested ATM since I haven't yet bothered with Test Installing Win7.

(note - currently running REAL LOW on disk space...)

So, with Windows 7 exiting Mainstream support on January 13th, chances for an official SP2 are even smaller, if not next to none.

there will be never a Sp2. A new Sp extends mainstream support by 1 year and the mainstream support is over, so no new Sp.

which goes in winblows "10" favor since they give free upgrade to it for 1 year on users with win7 & 8

And nowhere else on this site either.

I do not mind

you have on MDL simplix pack for win7

but unfortunately it contains MS spyware

but unlike this "XP SP4" at least it doesn't force you to install crap called .net and IE

One might suspect that GWX free update virus is the next service pack for 7, 8, and 8.1.

 

The sad thing is that outside in the real world, downloading three DVDs over ADSL to update three different computers is quite a pain, and actually costs more money than buying one CD-ROM and uploading the stuff locally, even if it has to be validated.

 

From what i have seen of GWX, it seems that they imported people who were more apt at writing virus search engines etc, rather than serious serch packs for Windows. 

is the place to go.
