Post-SP1 updates for Windows 7 (Updated 18/05/2018)

Recommended Posts

"April 2014 DirectX Update for Windows 7 (64 bit)" looks like it can be cleanly replaced by KB2670838.  On my updated system, it's already installed by WU.  I think that's more secure than installing the 2011 web installer from someone's Dropbox folder.

On a side note, thanks for all your work maintaining the updates list.

Hi Steven, the claimed and named 64bit version of the Malicious software removal tool (kb890830) in the 18/05/2018 edition of the 'win7-sp1-x64.ulz' is actually the 32 bit version. It stopped the integration cold with an error message.

Hope this helps someone. Regards, Gideon.
