I dont want to use an extra program to restore the themes, i want to select them from the apperance tab in proparities normally like if they are signed by windows. this was going fine with sp2.

I used nLite on SP3 and it works fine for me.

Cheers ;)

No problem using nLite here as well.

Most of the themes for me are working, but a couple of themes don't work with sp3 patched sp3 uxtheme.dll.

No, don't work !

I supose it's language related.

French WinXP SP3 don't work.

I'm looking after the right way to add the patched file (with 3rd party patcher) in the ISO.

Anyways, just replacing the file in the ISO-> File is missing a 1st installation stage.

snoopy81,

Are you sure you have a working theme?

Please look this topic.

Simply replacing the DLL before cutting the ISO seems to work.

Enjoy, John.

french XPSP3, patched UXtheme.dll with nLite, works great here.

double check your settings.
