XP SP3 Intergration

Hi all

Has anyone had any problems with there audio drivers not working after intergrating Windows Xp SP3?

For some reason my Audio Drivers do not work/install after intergrating XP SP3

Had this problem to.. I uninstalled sp3, installed audio drivers, installed sp3 again lol. annoying bugger

Maybe you should try to extract KB888111_sp2 and integrate the files as drivers.

The extractes files are :

for XP sort these files out in one directory :

kb888111wxpsp2.cat
portcls.sys

In case of portcls.sys there's a newer one in sp3 an maybe you must replace it with the one in sp3. Can't test here.

Then integrate thie folder or the inf with nlite. UAA drivers should work then.

Could this be why my audio drivers did not work after an unattended install, I added them to WINNT.sif and I also add the KB888111 add on ?

I use the addon from here worked fine

intergrate sp2 then intergrated the Universal_Audio_Architecture_High_Definition_Audio_AddOn_1.0.7z

I was not talking about SP2 but SP3. Anyway, i will try the Universal Drivers and see if that works.

Yeah I integrated SP3 then added the "Universal_Audio_Architecture_High_Definition_Audio_AddOn_1.0.7z" add on, I have the driver install via WINNT.SIF, once Windows was installed the driver was recognized but said it "failed to start code 10"

If the driver doesn't work unattended after using the addon then try installing the driver after you install Windows, done the OOBE and logged in.

The addon works with my Conexant HD Audio & modem.
