    The -m switch for cdimage ignores the size of the iso. cdimage.exe -m But I would use nero for this. If/when your image is so big that it won't fit on a dvd it's time to use cdimage....

    expand you oobeinfo.in_ in your i386 to oobeinfo.ini: expand oobeinfo.in_ oobeinfo.ini and add SkipAutoUpdate=1 under the [options] part. [options] SkipAutoUpdate=1 cab it back to oobeinfo.in_ using makecab: MAKECAB.EXE /D COMPRESSIONTYPE=LZX oobeinfo.ini. and replace the one in your i386 folder. That should do it, Windows Welcome Screen without automatic updates promt. For more options about oobeinfo check ref.chm in deploy cab in your support\tools folder on the winxp cd, or get it here.

    Burn as you normally do, but use a dvd instead.... If you want it bootable, check here. A dvd is just like a cd, just much larger capacity.

    Hi! Don't know if this has been posted, I've searched but couldn't find anything.... Anyway, here goes: To get the Windows Security Center in SP2 to work with Norton Antivirus and Firewall already at first logon, you can download the update from here: http://www.n e o w i n.net/staff/RadishTM/Norton_WMI_Update.rar (added spaces to pass the spam filter... ) All you need from the archive is the file 'SYMWMI04.MSI', add this to your unattended install with the switch /qn. "SYMWMI04.MSI /qn" To disable the prompt that pops up after installation (see attached picture), add this to your registry: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\SymSC] "FRNotified"=hex:01 To share Norton security status with Windows Security Center add this to registry: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\SymSC] "NoBroadcast"=hex:00 Change it to hex:01 if you don't want Norton's status to be shared.     Copy the i386 folder from the ghost cd to your multiboot cd, and rename it to ghv9 or something, create a bootfile pointing to that folder, and edit setupldr.bin (change any references about i386 to ghv9). It's a version of WinPE, so any guides about that should work with ghost.. Flyakite's guide about ERD commander and BartPe should lead you on the right track. Haven't tried it though.

    Just drop all of them into jcarle's Utilities Compression Bin, and you'll get the files compressed in notime.. Works like a charm..

    You should have cdromsp4.tst both in the root of the cd, and in the same folder as your i386 folder, but not in the i386.... |cdroot |cdromsp4.tst |-setup |--2kpro |---cdromsp4.tst |---i386

    If you use Autopartition = 1 Repartition = Yes It will wipe your HD clean, (all partitions (if any) will be deleted), and install windows without prompting you.

    Just install the servicepack from CD, not a slipstreamed version.

    Check that dosnet.inf in SETUP\XP\professional\I386 has this: [OptionalSrcDirs] Update Also delete svcpack.in_ if it's present in SETUP\XP\professional\I386...

    Add this: [Unattended] UnattendSwitch="yes" If you had done search for it, you would have seen this question answered many times....

    If you install Servicepack1 for Office 2003 from CD, the label has to be Office2003patch, at least in the swedish verison of it... Unless you change the servicepacks msi files with, for example, Microsoft Orca.
