  1. Go to the motherboard website and download the drivers for the audio card. That yellow exclamation is telling you there is a problem, more than likely a driver issue. Double click on it to find out what the problem is.
  2. When doing an upgrade to 2000 pro from Windows 98, do a fresh install and just insert the Windows 98 media when it asks for it. I had that happen on a 98 machine I tried to upgrade awhile back.
  3. I have the same poblem on Server 2003 and 2000 Server. It is annoying.
  4. What sound card do you have? And is it picked up in the Device Manager?
  5. You have to go into services and enable Windows Audio and set it to start automatically and then install your sound card drivers
  6. Is there any program you can include, or anyway to get CD Burning from explorer? Are there any programs out there that will hide the inactive icons in the system tray similar to Windows XP for Windows 2000?
  7. I only have a CD where I had integrated SP4 using Nlite. I want to add USP 5.1. Can I do that or do I need to still have a virgin Windows 2k CD? Also is there anyway to edit the registry in Nlite so I can load progman or another shell as my default desktop?
