LOL, fire extinguisher strapped to the side. I have a friend that was a sheet metal tech for a large aircraft company. He has a home business now where he makes PC Cases in his barn. His daughter (PC Builder) started the business with her Dad's technical assistance. They do pretty well with a full time staff of six employees. All they really started with was a sheet metal press and hand tools. Nice comfortable living in the hills of Tennessee. She tells me that a few steady contracts are necessary for a steady income.

Most of the time I get crap quality. Take ROF from ShareReactor. Plain Crap! The write-up said it was decent quality. It was a camera-in-theater job and a lousy one at that! Booger and I posted pics at TZ for comparison and they were all crap. Different sources and servers. This was not my first time downloading crap in recent months. I am totally tuned off and will not waste my time or bandwidth anymore.

Rick I was thinking about that same thing earlier this evening when I was watching Godzilla on Sky. How many times when we were younger did we get torn between a late night on the PC and an old monster movie? LOL. My mom used to think I was a nut because my brother and sisters would sit up late for the Twilight Zone and I was hunkered down in my bedroom with Donkey Kong. Mom teases that my first words as an infant were Nuke the Bastard.

shutdown the Internet. he he I wonder how many people will get stuck on that page

That is cool. I have always liked that comercial. It shows on Sky once in a while. Nice to have it on the hard disk now. Thanks xper.

Anyone serious about this should take accounting 101 as a minimal. The serious money is not in building PCs, however. It is just a side plate for extra cash in my case. The serious money is in manufacturing. zipp51 would know more about that. I hope to manufacture computer cases in the next two years.

Don't know for sure yet Pia. Someplace close to a military base probably. I know that is not saying a lot but in my line of work I just never know for sure till I get there. Basicly, I just tell the company to find me a new home and after a few weeks negotiating I fly. By the way. Resellers is spelled "Handsome Devils" w00t

I used to give copies of w.1.1 away, lol. Some of you guys really make me feel old. I used to have original 5.25 disks of W.95, gave them away. Oh well, theres always eBay.

Tris, I doubt I will be in Germany forever. Looks like we might be moving to the US in the October 2003 timeframe. As long as I am here I can explore good contacts for you. Here is one of my associates web sites, http://www.ukonline.de, his name is Uwe, and speaks english as well as German of course. His load for the moment is wireless hardware. Cases, I use ChiefTech, when I build high-end PCs, as they are common in Germany. Keep in mind we are all small time. Some of best sources are on eBay.de and participate in a huge computer flee market every Saturday in Mannheim. I guess about 500 - 800 people from all over Germany visit every Saturday. When I see something I want I pull the reseller off to the side and make a deal. For example, I need 3 or 4 cases, I check my source for a price quote, then I go to the market and obtain additional quotes, I simply take the best offer. Might save only EURO 50.00 for the cases, but with everything else it adds up to a nice sum, and my customers get quality hardware.

Its because Celeron is the low end of the Intel CPU line. If you are going to spend the extra money for a dual CPU system you may as well buy a high end configuration.
