I tried doing that with UltraISO, but it doesn't work.............won't copy files

Can anyone help compile a list of the files needed to run the theme and /or msstyles from Longhorn? they're might be a way to integrate them into the XPCD... the one thing I noticed, is that on Longhorn, the msstyles is NOT accompanied by a shellstyle.dll file.........hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

You misunderstood me , I meant, WinUpdate can check to see if your running a valid CDKey, if it's not and it's been blacklisted, WinUpdate won't let you update, if it's NOT blacklisted, then you CAN update

It has problems copying files from the CD, and the CD is in perfect shape. Errors copying files from CD, check to make sure disk is in drive and then try again...it's as though there's something that scrambles the laser on certain files and prevents it from copying ( copy protection ) How do I find out the boot sector?

I'm trying to make a copy of my Win98SE CD, but everytime I try to copy it, says it can't , it just WON'T let make a copy of it unless I do a CD to CD Copy, how can I bypass this annoyance and copy the CD to the HD?

The keys won't activate, but they'll let you use Windows Update....................wierd

Could be, but if someone stumbles upon it and releases the key, it'll just be known as another PIRATE key, though, so again, I wonder, and on that note, that's hypocritical of MS, bitching about how many pirated copies are floating around, you know?

Well, then why would the keys work then if this is a known flaw in the OS? It even allows you to connect to WinUpdate and download updates as well.......... yeah, I'd have to rate this as critical Edit: Downgraded rating to: Unknown...LOL

Hey guys, integrate SP2 into a copy of your WinXP CD, and then look at the unattend.txt file in the i386 folder, see a product key at the bottom? Can anyone compile a list of incompatibilities regarding SP2

I noticed that the file "Install.wim" on the Longhorn CD is the biggest file....how can I extract or expand this file so I can get access to the contents in it????
