  2. You guys aren't quite getting what I mean, are you? Have a look at the diagram again.........and yes, I'm aware of putting shortcuts to the QuickLaunch, Desktop, pinning on Startmenu, the idea is COSMETIC and USEFULL.....just a TWEAK idea

I have a query, so here goes: In Startmenu, where listed Search, Run, Set Program Access and Defaults, Control Panel, etc. I'd like to eliminate the Menu Handler for My Computer and just add links to my Hard Disks, where the red circles would be Icons. How do I do this? I'm not quite sure what REG to create... any help?
  7. Well, it appears that when you delete the ActiveX, and then proceed to v6 page, Update automatically throws it back on your comp......... nice, eh?
  8. Still, the process was presented and it still has no effect, it's as though if WinUpdate doesNOT receive a response from the ActiveX, it won't allow for update d/l...........I'm thinking I may delete the file and seeing what happens after that

Hey crowd, been a while since I've been on here, I remember when all the hype went around where everyone thinks they've found a way to disable WGA........got a news flash for you..........DOESN'T WORK!   13. Well, it's been a while since I've been on and about, however I've noticed that the Multiboot DVD has been given up on?!?! Someone ever going to get around to updating the manual or fxing any errors?

  17. I would like to "slipstream" the wmp10 files on a WinXP sp2 CD so that it replaces wmp9, how do I accomplish this Just to add: I DON'T want to Silent install it, but ADD files so wmp10 is PART of the Setup..... you know what I mean? B)

  21. How does Longhorn access and/or process MSSTYLES themes? Is there a way to integrate the styles into WinXP? there just has to be a way, I mean come on..LOL
  22. well, nothing really, ****.this is the second time I've posted in the wrong area..... Anywho, what I want to do, is change all my icons on my XPCD to look like Longhorn, and was also wondering about changing certain apps to the Longhorn version, ie....Calculator, ???
  23. Here's a question, how about upgrading specific ms apps? ie. Notepad from SP2 to Notepad v.6.0.4074.0 ie.Calculator v.5.1.2600.0 to Calculatorv .6.0.4074.0
