What is the difference between INF-Intel and INF-SATA(Iastor)? Because when I manually install my ICH7-M on my Lenovo T60 and reboot and set AHCI in bios it gave me a BSOD. So what to change in order to have AHCI set in bios and booting in XP?

I'm having the same problem but didn't find a solution yet

Devcon and Unknown Device Identifier gave a solution! Thanks The advantage between devcon and unknown dev is that devcon can be launched under dos so you don't need a working windows to execute it where you need one with Unknown Device Identifier

I'm looking for a program that can list all devices installed or not on a machine. I must have all vendor ids and device ids. Is there an application that does something like that?

RESYSPREP old image with new ICH9R drivers for Dell Optiplex 755
Kingskawn replied to tarl57's topic in Device Drivers
Is this list still up to date with the newest one? Does "%systemdrive%\tools\Drivers\RAID\iastor.inf" refer to a folder that is already on the pc or that we have to create and put the files into? -
Drivers Instalation in Post-Install stage (New Method)
Kingskawn replied to MadBoy's topic in Device Drivers
Yes, the share is mapped without problem and the folder is 30mb big with 14 folders in it. I made it as little as possible to avoid any problems. In the driver share are only drivers needed for that machine nothing else. If I install manually from device manager the driver (PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2572&SUBSYS_02871014) it get installed. -

Increase Hardware Compatibility for Windows XP WIM
Kingskawn replied to meofcourse's topic in Windows PE
Did you used it with SCCM or with MDT? And at what stage does it change the HAL type? -
So my problem getting this BSOD from the fact that if I don't change AHCI to compatibility is related to the "Mass Storage Controller"? How can I include those controllers and add a maximum so I won't have to make each month a new image?

Office 2000/XP/2003/2007 Slipstreamer - version 1.7.4
Kingskawn replied to mara-'s topic in Microsoft Office
Thanks (I always use folders without spaces because there are a lot of programs who have difficulties with it) Great tool EDIT: I've got fileformatconverters.exe that I must integrate. In 'chained install' I choose the custom switch but it's not written that I have to put a space before the command. Is it " /quiet /norestart" or "/quiet /restart" right after fileformatconverters.exe? Thanks -

I have nLite 1.4.9 and using ryanvm 1.0.1 SP3 and I never had issues to make iso files. Now when I boot with my ISO I have a BSOD. What the hell is this? My nlite integrates some networkdrivers (intel & broadcom) and ryanvm sp3. That's all Do I have to download SP3 full (.exe) and put it in nlite -> service packs and after that put ryanvm SP3 1.0.1 in updates?
