  1. Both, fore the rollout we are gona use Lite-Touch (pxe) bud after the rollout, for maintenance, we will use zero-touch. we are gona use Lite-touch for the rollout because first we have to install extra ram in de machines, so its easyer to do a pxe-boot and start the deployment, we doint want the machines to start before the hardware upgrade
  2. Yep, Try that already, in SCCM you can make a package with a Customsettings.ini and a Unattended.xml, and you can use this files. i changed the settings in the Unattended.xml throu the SIM, only gave me a error (0x00000001) I doint no when i use the Unattended.xml or the Customsettings.ini in SCCM, i have to fill them with all the info or that the tasksequencer only takes that info and get the rest from wats supplied throu the Tasksequence it self
  3. Hello, i`am workinhg on a Vista Rollout with SCCM 2007, now i want to change the keyboard settings from US-International to Belgium (AZERTY). i no with Lite-touch thats no problem, i can do it in the Customsetting.ini. 4. Thanks Bryan, This is what i was looking for, still strange that this cant be found in any of the BDD or USMT documentation. Thanks again Fred
  5. I`am trying to use USMT within BDD 2007. In bdd 2007 i use the Customsettings.ini to migrate from XP to Vista, now i made a config.xml and a custom.xml for my scanstate and loadstate, can somebody please tell me where in BDD2007 i have to dump the files so BDD2007 uses them. and some samples from Scan and Loadstate args fore the customsettings.ini cant find the info on Microsoft, they send you from one document to the next, and next, and next, bud no info i find the documentation on BDD 2007 very bad, i think to much differend groups work on the differend componends, wihout nowing what the next group is making.
  6. Found the problem, was testing my RunOnceEx on a Sysprept XP image in VMware, tested the apps on RIS itself everythings fine. sorry
  7. Thanks Largo, check the Variables.dat, it gifs the same data as i get from smbios2.exe, so there has to be somthing wrong in the Customsettings.ini

  11. c:\windows\system32\config.nt this is the config.sys used by windows xp fore Dos
  12. Found It !!!! In the Office resourcetool there is a Outlook Administrator pack that allows u to customize the security settings, and publish it in a public folder on your exchange server, ad a reg key to your workstations HKCU and outlook looks at the new security settings and implement them. the only thing i have to findout now is what way the application uses to acces Outlook, there a a few diferent ways
  13. Just a Application, in this case its a shell arround Oracle, i doint think its important wat kind of application it is, it has to be a setting in Outlook thats reacting on the application thats trying to send a email or retrieve a adress from the adressbook. its also possible that its Exchange, because i use Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003 -------------------------------------------- Found somthing in the Knowledge Base, problem is explainted bud doint give a good workaround on how to fix this so you doint get the question anymore http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821679/en-us
  14. Somebody nows ho to get rite of this popup, and just simply allow it. happens when a external program try to access Addressboook or try to send e-mail, only options is to allow for max 5 min, bud i want it to just allow
  15. Need to install Oracle 8i in silent mode, did like Freshy98 explaint in his answer on this post : http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...41543&hl=oracle made a response file with -record, installd Oracle and de-installd it, and made a MSI with Wise from the thinks Oracle left behind and needs for the OUI to work in silent mode. The MSI works fine with RunOnceEx.cmd, bud the response file works only when i start the line my self ( start,Run)bud the line doint do nothing when i run it with RunOnceEx.cmd : REG ADD %KEY%\025 /VE /D "Oracle Files for OUI" /f REG ADD %KEY%\025 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\apps\Oracle_Installer\Oracle_installer.msi /qn" /f REG ADD %KEY%\030 /VE /D "Oracle 8i Client" /f REG ADD %KEY%\030 /V 1 /D "C:\apps\Oracle8i\setup.exe -RESPONSEFILE C:\apps\Oracle8i\clientadmin.rsp -SILENT" /f (already change the %systemdrive%, did not help !!) Is there something wrong with this line or is there a other reason that OUI wont work ??
