anyone tried to install winxp x64 in vmware?

thx ill try to build my IE6 package l8er, hope its possible to build my own ie6sp1-WUCAB-DEU.cab yey i just have recognized that the freeware xpcreate doesnt download hotfixes only commercial i hope GM does allow me to download the commercial even already downlaoded the freeware so what does the freeware xpcreate do? this does mean only commercial does slipstream the hotfixes or not? The commercial version includes plug-ins that will allow automatic downloading of the hotfixes required to create the most up to date installation of Windows. sorry, iam a bit confused today...

i just tried runnin xpcreate on another computer in hope its a firewall issue but no again no hotfixes downloaded all i see is a new window appears "WGET", but just for 2sec then IE6SP1 begins to download o_O

heya, i just tried the newest version but it doesnt download any hotfixes except IE6 which doesnt work IE6 will installed in the T-13 minute state i think but dr. watson (rundll32.exe made an error and will be closed) does appear when it try to install IE6 but after restart, it tries again to install and without problems this time in the dr. watson logfile it say something with "Ausnahmefehler: c0000005 (Zugriffsverletzung)" it just means "exception error: c0000005 (Access Violation)" sup LOGFILES.CAB

i remember i had exact the same problem on a very old version it was caused the hive*.inf files r not stored as ANSI @nuhi, he didnt remove IE and OE look he attached the settings.ini file

maybe u need to change agp aperture size in bios or memory settings which graphic card u use? i also had a problem like that but on another game, i forgot what was the solution....think the settings in bios Statement removed

<programfiles> is a variable it will be installed by ur default programfiles locations (c:\Programme)

iam askin me the same question i tried both i had many spyware on my computer and mcafee enterpr. doesnt found many of them then tried sav and it does find most of the spyware, of course not deletable cuz they were currently in use i know 4 spyware i should install programs like ad aware but just 4 info sav is better in spyware detection but when i execute an spyware .exe file, sav doesnt block the execution?! mcafee have blocked it! so which is better now? mcafee does have more features too, like port blocking and several other things sav is small and dont have really "features" but i dont know, i THINK sav does detect more virus, becuz it detects more spyware too, lot more and the autoupdate from mcafee is better then sav
