  1. So are you using my DriverPacks or not? Know that the DriverPacks BASE automatically slipstreams KB888111 and it's known to work correctly (or not anymore, RogueSpear?)
  2. Already noticed this. Implemented in DriverPack Chipset V6.01, topic closed.
  3. Thanks for the anecdote Please post the HWID of that GPU, that will confirm either my or your point of view. And yes, new DriverPacks will be online soon.
  4. Well, I googled for 'screensaver settings' and that's what I found, so. Glad it's working now
  5. Right-click -> configure Or configure it through Display Properties. These are my settings for the screensaver: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Screen Saver.Slideshow] "ImageDirectory"="D:\\_GUI\\wallpapers" "PaintInterval"=dword:00000000 "ChangeInterval"=dword:00001770 "DisplayFilename"=dword:00000000 "MaxScreenPercent"=dword:00000064 "DisableTransitions"=dword:00000000 "AllowStretching"=dword:00000000 "AllowKeyboardControl"=dword:00000001 "MaxFailedFiles"=dword:000003e8 "MaxSuccessfulFiles"=dword:00010000 "MaxDirectories"=dword:000000c8 The ChangeInterval is 1 second.
  6. I ResHacked it, as I said For those who want a screenshot, I've posted one at my blog. It really looks awesome
  7. Today I noticed Google had released its Google Pack. Most of the software included in that pack was already installed on my system (Firefox) or was simply unnecessary in my eyes (Ad-aware, Norton AV, etc.). Only one application (if you could name it that) could please me: Google Pack Screensaver. It creates a collage of pictures. I tried it and I really like it! Only one thing annoyed me: the Google logo in the upper right corner... ResHack to the rescue! I've attached a modified version of the Google Pack Screensaver that does no longer have the Google logo. I don't think it's against the rules, or at least no more than the modified uxtheme.dll for example. download Just copy the file to %windir%\system32, right click it and install it. That way you won't need the Google Updater or anything else of the Google Pack if you don't want it. P.S.: it also works superb on a dualscreen setup: it won't just clone!
  8. What GPU do you have in your desktop pc? I strongly doubt you've got a mobile G70 It's simply impossible, due to the HWIDs listed in the .inf file of D\G\N\M: %NVIDIA_G70.DEV_0099.1% = nv4, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0099&SUBSYS_09001558 %NVIDIA_G70.DEV_0099.2% = nv4_M570A, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0099&SUBSYS_05701558 %NVIDIA_G70.DEV_0099.3% = nv4_SLI, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0099&SUBSYS_05901558
  9. The difference in size is minimal, when you see that all drivers together in uncompressed form take ~860MB and without some of the international drivers that would be ~800. In compressed form the differences would even be smaller! EDIT: Thanks for following the posting rules... you're one of the few About your question: may I ask why you need that little more space?
  10. Please try at least to provide me with the HWID of that graphics card!
  11. Happy birthday, XPero!
  12. I need more information.
  13. Anyone who can confirm this problem?
  14. What do you mean?
  15. That difference in date can be caused by different timezones. But just to make sure... please e-mail me those drivers (in archived form, of course). You can find my e-mail address in my profile.
  16. Because of my absence, this version will be skipped. Topic closed.
  17. Hm.... the 78.01 driver was even buggier, it seems now! Of course the latst DriverPack Graphics (which is now horribly out of date), contains the driver you suggested. Problem solved, topic closed.
  18. Updated the drivers in DriverPack Chipset 6.01, which is not yet released. Request implemented, topic closed.
  19. Is fixed in DriverPack Chipset V6.01. Request implemented, topic closed.
  20. Thanks for registering at MSFN just to tell me this. Thanks for your input, but that's not quite a fix: you're now using the OLD portcls.sys instead of the newer one. Could you please check your I386 directory for the exinstence of the 'portcls.sys' file?
  21. Moved to Device Drivers forum.
  22. This is one of the features that's on the to-do list. So please practice some patience! If I notice it will take too long until this feature is available, I'll post a tutorial. Question answered, topic closed.
  23. If I were an AMD fanboy, I'd certainly use this wallpaper. Looks great
