  1. That's the Dutch UXPCD tutorial The correct site is http://users.telenet.be/btsunattended/EN/B...ntroduction.htm That 'sponsor' IS the ads section! (google ads)
  2. I totally agree with nateklomp. At the moment there's NO difference in speed at all, nor access time. The only advantage is the better cables, and the fact you can use SATA for external use too. Although I have to disagree with nateklomp when he's saying there aren't native SATA hdds yet. There are some Seagate hdd's which support SATA natively. Maybe with the coming of NCQ there will be a difference...
  3. Why double post? The audigy's control panel is (correction: was) quite difficult to get installed, as it wasn't installed through the driver's inf file. Now that's solved with a small batch! grtz
  4. What do you prefer? Larger or smaller characters? first option > go 17inch second option > go 19 inch
  5. New builds means new versions...........example: Windows Messenger 4.9(XP) vs 6.1 (LH) We're asking what the new features are...
  6. Thanks! I'm working on the update of the Sound DriverPack today. I'll take care of the errors you told.
  7. hmm.... "AMD Wireless Chipset", does this mean AMD makes WLAN chips too???
  8. GOOD WORK!!!! Congratulations!
  9. Virus? What virusscanner do you have? Have you done a format and fresh install?
  10. I'll do it for you, if it isn't too much. Please post what you need.
  11. SATA performance is NOT AT ALL better. At least, not YET. With NCQ (never heard of? google for it) there will be a difference. Still not very big. If you can choose between SATA, PATA and the PATA version is cheaper, go for the PATA one! I'd definetly go for the LCD! Unless you're still working with a 20 GB hard disk... I'm working on a Hyundai Q17 17 inch flatscreen with 1280*1024 and..... it's marvellous!
  12. WHQL won't work anymore! And sometimes that gives trouble...
  13. Or just use my sound driverpack. Sigmatel's drivers (the ones your using) are included.
  14. If you've placed/typed everything correctly, it should work!
  15. I'd also think just copying won't give any problems, these aren't complicated programs... P.S.: what new features are there?
  16. What the advantage is? Versus what other method? When we install drivers this way, they will only get installed when the required hardware is there. If we silently install the _packages_, it will also get installed on systems where this hardware is not present. I hope this was your question... EDIT: to get the Audidgy's control panel installed, please see the topic about it in the Device Drivers forum.
  17. I'll try to do it when I come home, that's within 9 hours.
  18. LOL, maybe B) 7zip non-SFX Ultra compression, 2nd highest setting for word size, highest for dictionary works on my pc I'll see
  19. UPDATED August 18 2004 DOWNLOAD For all info: see first page. If someone can help me to figure out what's wrong with the JavaScript, please contact me! 20. Use control+F in regedit and search for clonecd.... Or think LOGICAL and browse to HKCU\Software\Slysoft and HKLM\Software\Slysoft.... You definetely didn't search!
  21. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! As I said before, I couldn't figure out the switches of CTZAPXX.exe (tried /S, without result) because I don't have a Creative APU. With the next release of my DriverPack Sound Creative's cards will be fully operational!!!!
  22. Is anyone else experiencing (minor) bugs? Or maybe you've found a spelling error? Just let me know, I'm working on the installation instructions atm. If there's anything else, the new version will be uploaded this evening. (only fix: Marvell drivers entry)
  23. Hmm..... when you know what you are doing, and there's no chance of you needing to Restore, yes - remove SR. Also, it sometimes comes in the way when you are trying to replace protected DLLs in the system directories. Isn't that what our unattended Windows CD's are for? :s B)
  24. I've seen the cat before...
  25. Well done! : And... you're using an EXTREMELY FAST server!!!! 855 kilobyte/sec here! P.S.: I'll add it to my translation of MSFN's tutorial too, if you don't mind!
