  3. Ok, I want the silent unattended install because I want to create a unattended XP CD. The Drivers I want are located here http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/...0&os=WW1&osl=EN the SIGMATEL STAC 9750 AC97, Intel Mobile Chipset, Alps GlidePoint/StickPointer, Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller, Dell Notebook System Software, Microsoft SpeedStep Fix for WinXP, and nVidia GeForce4 4200 Go.
  4. Ok, Im just getting frustrated with trying to get me drivers and applications integrated and was wondering if I gave the link to the drivers I wanted if someone could go download them and extract only the drivers or whatever i need and get only the specific files i need from the downloads and put them each in a seperate folder so that they are just ready for me to copy and past into my $OEM$ folders sub directorys. I dont know what I could do in exchange? Give 2 legit boughten retail windows xp cd keys? I would really appreciate if someone could do this for me. Please PM or post a replay if interested. Thank You, Jared
  5. Where do I put the batch file?
  6. This is my first time doing a silent install and im trying to figure out what to do. Do I make my own batch file?
  7. Im confused about when it says look at the link for an example http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/applications/winrar.htm Add these lines to your batch file: ECHO. ECHO Installing WinRAR 3.20 ECHO Please wait... start /wait %systemdrive%\install\Applications\WinRAR\wrar320.exe /s I am doing a silent install of winrar and dont know what batch file it is talking about.
  8. I found the install for 5.0 but is it the same for RoxioEasy CD/DVD Creator6 Platinum? Easy CD Creater 5.0 Switch: /s /v/qn Full syntax: setup.exe /s /v/qn Extraction needed: ?
  9. Kool, it worked. I have a quick question about the chipset driver though. I found 2 .INF files as shown here and was wondering if these are the drivers shown in this picture here
  10. Awesome, thanx a bunch. Im off to try that now!
  11. I have been trying really hard to understand how to create an Unattended XP CD and integrating the drivers, but cant seem to get it. I am using the turtorial at http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/drivers.htm When it says ""Extract your driver package to any folder, and examine the contents of it. Sometimes you will find several sub-folders containing the INF files in which case you need to make seperate direct paths to them in OemPnPDriversPath. This is because Windows XP Setup will not scan any sub-folders for any INF files"" this is the part i get confused on. Because i downloaded my drivers for my computer at http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/...0&os=WW1&osl=EN and dont understand what to do next. It has a .exe setup and not a .INF so what do I do?
