  1. But WTF... Just CHECK that fixed one, that file really IS there... Did you put in the 'FILES' folder of the DPs BASE? It should NOT be in the 'DPfiles' folder, as I said before...
  2. You broke your sholder? Went skiing :sarc: But if you connected everything to the SiI3112r... then THAT's the problem... :s Then it was quite useless to copy those 2 .dll files... At least, in your case. pffff... I'd say the cause is that I just included the SiI3112 SATARAID driver and not the SATALink one. But it's been confirmed that the SATALink also works with the SATARAID driver AND you're running the SATARAID version, so that CAN'T be it... I repeat: could you please post the hwid of your nVidia and your Silicon Image MassStorage controllers? Thank you.
  3. Search microsoft.com for details. Or just use google. I once knew a good site with a clear explanation, but I don't remember its URI...
  4. Sorry! I did not see that! Ehm... Why didn't you copy the nvraidco.dll file??? You're using a RAID setup apparently, so I guess it's necessary And.. you're using those 2 striped HDDs on your NVRAID, I suppose? BTW... I did not know it had RAID support Stupid me Well, I don't have enough money to buy more HDDs so not important anyway... Use devcon to determine your hwid please! P.S.: you can find your revision printed on your motherboard.
  5. I deleted your accidental reply I just remember I found last week something at least equally interesting! this KB article This article litteraly says 'how to correctly slipstream a hotfixed version of a pre-existing file that is contained in the Driver.cab file of a Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3)-or-later distribution share, a Windows XP distribution share, or a Windows Server 2003 distribution share', which is exactly what we're looking for. I think the problem will be solved by using this one!
  6. Yes, please do that .dll test! Do you have EXACTLY the same mobo??? :o Which revision? I've got the 2.0 revision.
  7. @mark49: That's a VERY interesting idea, didn't think of that This might be an easy solution Nice thinking
  8. ****, I forgot to update that one entry... The others will work fine. There will be a new DPs BASE tonight anyway, so...
  9. I noticed the identical versions too, but I did not check for WHQL validity. I assumed it was valid... I will keep the current files though, because those older but valid files might cause corruptions on the devices that belong to the added hwids.
  10. It's fixed in the new version of DP Sound B: support for MANY other SoundMAX and Sigmatel brands @larciel: **** I'll compare it with the driver I have right now.
  11. DPs Poll #1: Would you prefer a Lite version? Lite version : English language only Vote yes if you would like me to ADD (not replace!) a Lite version of DP xxx. A Lite version would save space. That's the only possible reason. Or not? This is what kalavera thinks of it: 'and the thing about forced language': he uses an English Windows XP, but sets his keyboard to Portugal, and still the Brazilian-Portuguese translation (which SUCKS, he says ) is getting installed... If you have remarks, please post them.
  12. Ehm... yes, that was the point, replacing the old one... :s
  13. That's absolutely impossible. Did you put it in the 'DPfiles' folder or in the 'FILES' folder? It should be in the FILES folder in your DPs BASE!
  14. Yes, of course. Here's a link to a fixed version of Methods_V5042.7z. Download it and move it into your 'FILES' folder. Download it here
  15. PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you as much invites as you want (with a maximum of 50 ). Do you know any 'cleaner' way on how to do it?
  16. Thank you, fixed. New version online tonight, along with more fixes.
  17. ehm... Please use punctuation marks! So you've got a portcls.sys error? Would you care to tell me which version of the DPs you used, if you used both Sound DPs and with which motherboard/sound card you had that error.
  18. hehe Soooooo much troubles and then the cause was a not properly working drive I'm glad it's FINALLY solved
  19. It's used in Pyron's method, Alanoll It's not very hard to solve: 1) Move the OEM folder to the ROOT of your AIO DVD, that is: next to the AIO-DVD folder. 2) Open all your presetup.cmd's and change the tagfile to a tagfile of your liking. For detailed info, check the guide!
  20. You did put adpu320.sys and dpti2o.sys in the I386 directory, right? If you want you can compress it, but it's not necessary. Try to change this adpu320.sys = 1,,,,,,3_,4,1 dpti2o.sys = 1,,,,,,3_,4,1 into adpu320.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1 dpti2o.sys = 1,,,,,,4_,4,1
  21. @Ramona: ok thanks for the confirmation. ****. Now I've got another problem RyanVM did it this way too, so I just adopted that method... I guess I have to find another way then...
  22. The download link is fixed. @simpleman: are you using the latest versions of everything? I especially tested if all the entries were added with both M1 and M2 and both worked flawlessy. @lilweirddude: integrated, ok, but did it also werk perfectly? EDIT: @simpleman: I've found that error. Fixed now. New version online tonight.
  23. I strongly doubt there could be a conflict... And BTW, please update to the V5.04 series of the DriverPacks! (Check my sig, the UpdateTracker or the RSS feed)
  24. Please give us more details, like this we cannot help you. And what is that '[F' and 'ONT=Arial'? I think you should clean up your tags The double topic has been removed.
