You can find some lastsession.ini in the forums but theyre either old or just posted for troubleshooting. I say vLite is a learning experience, just try something and test the install using a virtual machine.

I dont think Ive been at another forum where old posts were bumped as often as on MSFN. Could it be (at least partially) due to the "Similar Topics" feature?

I just found that my Windows Firewall was not working. When I try to start the Windows Firewall or Policyagent services, I get a message about a dependency. If you already use nLite for unattended, removals, etc you might as well use it for addons too, just so you get everything done in one swoop.

Have you installed (or integrated) the drivers for your graphics card?

Even if Windows isnt yet activated, you can install updates fine.

I use a 32-bit of Vista and a vLited installation with page file takes less than 5 gigs. Unless you install a lot of programs or multiple big programs, I think you could fit the 16GB.

From Accessories Id remove Game Explorer (if you dont use) and Paint (if you dont use). Id remove all those drivers. But keep the storage drivers for your chipset if you need. From Services, just remove any services that you dont run/need. From System, Id remove all except Component Cache and HTML engine.
