so for Automatic Updates, what would be considered a "minor update"? would it download additional updates to the ones it already downloads?

have u tried adding teh site(s) to IE's trusted zone? just go to Internet Options in control panel. also if u rele need a online scanner, use the java version of Trend Micro's HouseCall. u can even use it Firefox/Opera.

id rely on the Windows Update site.

idk what services/reg entries it checks but u can try using the microsoft autoplay repair wizard.

try downloading usbport.sys from here and replace it in safe mode.

what files do i need to keep for yahoo music engine/jukebox to work? do i need to keep WMP compatibility? i dont want to keep or install WMP tho. i already use windows media lite.

the hotfix is for those with dual-core cpus but it wont affect single core cpus. ive used ryanvm's update pack on a single core cpu and it works fine.

are u using the nLite Alternative Runtimes? if so, use the full .net framework 2.0 from microsoft.

ive had this problem too but if u use nlite to integrate rvm's update pack, wouldnt it save u time? anyways, maybe u could post in the ryanvm.net forums

yes u can run nlite after running rvm integrator. its my usualy method and it works well.

try using v1.2.2 (rapidshare link) of ryan's integrator rather than 1.3.

i doubt u have this either, but maybe u could use the previous version of the integrator (aka 1.2.2)

VLC includes its own codecs for decoding divx but Windows doesnt have a way to decode divx so u need a codec pack. i could be wrong tho.

yes its a known problem but nuhi doesnt know what causes teh error. only fix is to install the full .net framework.
