  1. I use a program called "TuneUp Utilities 2006" but it is more then just a Registry Cleaner.
  2. It's Always Off Line so you know that everyone that has used it has had a ton of problems. AOL is nothing more then a company that overcharges and takes advantage of the "New Internet User" Ever try to stop using AOL? If you do watch out cause they not only continue charging you they also double charge you and at times triple charge for several months. I know from them doing this to my girlfriend and also her father a few of my neighbors. The list goes on and on. Just google AOL overcharge and read the pages of complaints on this company.
  3. This link is for the Windows XP not for Windows ME. I think she is trying to hide a user in Windows Me but I don't think that is possable. As most have come to see that Windows ME is one of Microsofts biggest mistakes. Edit ---- OK after searching a bit I did find this registry tweek for Windows ME --
  4. There are a bunch of shareware ones here -- http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/downloa...catalogue_info/ And of course a free one here -- http://www.intervocative.com/Downloads.aspx I havent used these but I have used the "Collectorz.com" collecting software before (still have it all here somewhare lol) They have software for just about everything you can collect. From "Books to Comics to Games to Movies to mp3's to Music -- etc..." I love there software when I cataloged everything around the house but then lost interest after doing this for about a year.
  5. Apearntly the labels are the same for ""Visual Studio .NET Enterprise 2003" and for ""Visual Studio .NET Enterprise 2005". Now I did find this page for the Express Version -- http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/support/install/ It tells how to burn it to cd. But it also has the .img and .iso formats. Ok my friend says the first 2 disc should be named cd1 "VSENARD1" and cd2"VSENARD2". I hope this works for you.
  6. Oh ok lol sorry bout that. I am still searching for a Volume Label list for you. Now I have a DVD of the "Visual Studio .NET Enterprise 2003" and its Volume Label is "VSENARD1" So if I had a set of cd's they would be like "VSENARD1, VSENARD2, VSENARD3, VSENARD4, VSENARD5" and so forth. Let me ask my friend if he has the 2005 version (He always has the new stuff) lol
  7. For a cpu Intel Celeron D 320 / 2400mhz For the Motherboard I have ECS 845GV-M3 For the Memory I have Micron Tech For the Video Card I have nVIDIA For harddrives I have 1. Hitachi Deskstar 7K250 40.0gb 2. IBM Deskstar 180GXP 80.0gb 3. Western Digital 40.0gb My CD/DVD ROM is a Lite-On DVDRW SOHW-812S Umm I think that gets the main parts lol
  8. If you downloaded them from the Microsoft site what format were they in? ISO - bin/cue - ??? With the ISOBuster you can look at the files like ISO or bin/cue and get the Volume Label. Like for an ISO of WinXP PRO it would show something like "WXPVOL_EN" windos media center would show something like this "NR1PFRE_EN" So I would say that the image file you downloaded from Microsoft woulld show this type label in ISOBuster also
  9. Thanks. Allthough I did kinda need those but really I was looking if there was a complete list out there. As at the moment I am looking for Visual Studio 2005 Professinal ENG. Thanks, MrChris Do you have the "Multiple CD" versions or the "DVD" (that is if it comes in DVD format). If you have the Mutpile CD version then how many CD's are there in all? Plus you can use a program like "ISOBuster" to read the labels you already have on the iso or cd.
  10. Money Sucking Female Nympho My best try Or how about Monkeys Suck Fuzzy Nipples
  11. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think that Windows ME came with and option to hide a user. Windows ME was one of Microsoft's biggest mistakes even they will tell you that. They released it way too soon and it was never really ever finished.
  12. I have well over 500 but I collect DVD's and also use DVD's to burn custom disk with and to backup my computer files with.
  13. I have to admit it now I have a computer case made by Dell but the only other thing in the case by dell is one of my memory sticks. lol But everything else is from everywhere else.
  14. You used to get every label here -- http://www.tacktech.com/ -- but I noticed that thier site is down for the moment.
  15. I ran into this problem before and it ended up being my nic card where the cable plugs in was loose/broken.
  16. I say "Custom Built" Mine has a bit of everything in it lol
  17. ehmsas.exe 5.1.2700.2180 Media Center Media Status Aggregator Service 1033 ehRecvr.exe 5.1.2700.2230 Media Center Receiver Service 1033 ehSched.exe 5.1.2700.2180 Media Center Scheduler Service 1033 ehtray.exe 5.1.2700.2180 Media Center Tray Applet All these are needed to run the Media Center. Without these running then your Media center will not run/ or run smoothly. The ehtray.exe is just the tray Applet but it is still a vital part of MCE.
  18. Theres a problem with your theory cause the windows activation also reads your PID number. The Windows PID is a unique code identifying your version of Windows and it is also used to identify your hardware setup. So if you install it on another system with a totally different hardware setup then the PID would be different. Or am I wrong?
  19. Well I didn't mean anything illegal when I said the above. What I meant was these two programs will find you keys if the program was installed before on the computer provided that they are still in the registry. I use these programs on a daily bases in my computer repair business. You would not believe the people that have the exact same problem that arkabee is having.
  20. Did you buy this computer brand new or was it a used computer when you got it? The reason I ask is that IBM never sold a NetVista 2292 - *** with Windows XP Professional They only sold this computer with XP Home or earlier on them. You can go here and see the Software Numbers of thier recovery CD's -- http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss...=MIGR-39316#xph Just look at your cd and see if it matches any of these.
  21. What type/model of computer is it that you are having this trouble with?
  22. I like the way this program works. Thanks for sharing that link!
  23. What it is is you have ereased the "OEM Windows XP" that came preinstalled on the harddrive. The recovery disk just looks into the "OEM" partition to restore your computer to the original settings that it was shipped from the factroy with.
  24. Then you have to fix the mbr or edit the boot.ini file and delete the Win98 string.
