  1. What exactly is the disc (image?) you start with ?
  2. Maybe the files you need were not in the set of files you started with, because you have no choice for "PC multiprocessor ACPI".

    HDD Problem

It doesn't matter which service pack you install, what matters is which service pack you are running at the momment you create the partition, right at the beginning of your install process. Installing SP3 afterwards won't solve your problem, using at first an install disc that has SP1 or later included (slipstreamed) will. Now you are left with the 2 options I listed above. A 3rd option is to create a slipstream disc and reinstall your XP but that would take you much more time. Creating a 2nd partition (that would translate in a D: drive) is by far the best option.
  4. Any reason you haven't left computer type on "automatic" in nLite unattended section ?
  5. That's the best way to do it. What doesn't seem to be right if I may ask ?

    HDD Problem

I think you just need to create a second partition that covers the remaining space or extend the 1st partition using a 3rd party tool (like GPartEd boot cd for instance). As stated by Charlotte, you probably created the partition with a XP SP0 system.
  7. What I meant is that the ini file is not cumulative of all nLite sessions on a given set of files. You do not have to start with fresh files but it is indeed safer and if nLite comes (free) with no warranty already, further nLiting comes with pretty much no support at all (even from the forum). Understanding a bit what you do is a big hint. -further removing components is no problem -further adding drivers is no problem -changing tweaks is (I think) no problem -playing with addons is a problem. -integrating a Service Pack to a modified source is a problem (so you have to do it the 1st time). -... etc ???
  8. In fact both files and those that have been created before are already present in that directory. Do not forget that to have a same result, you need to start with a same (original if possible) set of files.
  9. Why do you post this in multiple subforums but not in the one about Microsoft Office 2007 ?

    Help with Nlite!

Get yourself a proper thread title, all posts here are about nLite. Furthermore, your problem probably has nothing to do with nLite, you could try using any burning program to get your iso onto cd.
  11. Removing data doesn't fragment a disc. It sure leaves space in between the data but that is not "fragmentation". Maybe it really doesn't need defragmentation and that's why it's not performed.
  12. You need to download and install the drivers for your graphic card (and for XP) as well.
  13. You say you "installed" XP Home; was it an Acer "Recovery" process or did you use a standard MS XP disc ? If not recovery, did you install any video drivers at all ? (from the pictures it seems you have).
  14. This is the cause of your propblem. You can only integrate SP3 to an original source.
  15. From what I read... -to install SP3 on a running XP system, you must have at least SP1 running (so first install an intermediate SP if needed). -to make a sliptstream disc, you can start from any SP level (0-1-2) so yes, it is cumulative in some way. The OS you are running has no impact.
  16. It will still ask for the "old" password... Have you tried ?
  17. Unfortunately the answer was on that very picture. You have to change the Unattended Mode to "Fully Unattended". I'm sure you'll find the spanish equivalent.
  18. This is also in nLite's Frequently Asked Questions.
  19. In Computer management, right click the Administrator user and "set password" to whatever you want.
  20. Disable "HDD Free Space Requirement" on the Options screen. At least for XP, I guess the option is there also for 2K.
  21. Well that's very strange. Unless you manually add those files in the list of "to be deleted", there is no reason why nLite would remove them in the process. As a workaround, you can readd them using Windows Explorer at the point when it stops and asks for the iso file name and label, but still something is not right.
  22. \Are they found in your HDD folder ?
  23. Please post your "last session_u.ini" (but remove your licence key)
  24. I second that. Open the machine (powered off, of course), take the ram stick off and reset them. It might be redetected correctly.
  25. This could be caused by -bad display drivers -non standard XP install (like nLited disc) -use of a non standard theme.
