I read somewhere else that the serial issue is due to some file named "NeroPatentActivation". Not sure what it's all about though Where do I disable update-checking? Wanna see if that helps

If i've not mistaken, audio console is included in youppax drivers. It's poorly documented, so initially i installed the drivers without the suite, only to find i don't have the creative mixer that i needed. after that, i installed the suite, and walla.. everything works much nicer than with the original creative cd. driver version is a lot newer too.

Yes. I use the youpax suite, and 4.00.03 or newer drivers. Works perfect.

if you try the unofficial drivers (better than crappy creative ones).. if i aint mistaken, the latest version utilizes inno setup.. so the switches are pretty standard

I think there's something wrong with paint.net 3.2 switches.. i compared 3.1 and 3.2 setup by typing /? and both have the same switches... so i think in 3.2 its broken..

I just started testing this instead of using driverpacks.net. Nice that I can use my own drivers now. I'd like to know though why my nvidia forceware 169.04 (from tweakforce.com) wouldn't install properly. After all is up and running, i get a ! in device manager on the videocard, and the picture dont look so clear. Uninstalling the driver, and then reinstalling it manually fixes the issue. Any idea whats the cause? Also, I'm thinking of setting up an nforce chipset machine too, do nforce IDE drivers get installed?
