you might havt to leave the floppy disk in the drive. i know that my scsi drivers are like that ,if you remove the disk before the full setup is complete i got an error like that.

just brought two Seagate Chetah 36LP ST336704LCV 36.7gb and the firmware says ST336704LC., the drive lable say's ST336704LCV does the frimware determine the drive specifications. the guy i brought them from say's The firmware does not determine the drive specifications. what's the truth on this, and has any one ever had this happen.

here's what i have 1 eXtremeRAID 1100 2 seagate ST336704LCV drive's 80pin sca 2 SCA 80/68 Adapter, U320 U160 LVD Ultra320 Low-Profile 1 SCSI Wide Ultra160/Ultra3/Ultra2/Ultra LVD/SE 2-Device Internal Cable W/Terminator problem is the drive's are not seen in raid. when you hook one drive up to the card it is seen as a LC drive not LCV then when you reboot that one drive's shows up as dead, and this happens when you hook any of the two drive's up in single format. any idea guy's what it could be

Prath thats a **** good answer. the xp cd that we use is free the linux cd that you brought out of best buy is free every program is free your paying for the service that they M$ ect give you, and the license in the box is what cost 400 bucks when you talk about office2003 no the 5cd's.
