These three files do NOT install Smartdrv.exe Cvt.exe Write.exe Why when i install 98SE2ME on a clean install it says i only installed 720 files but all the files are there accept the 3 files above? I checked each file 1 x 1. But you have 756 listed at you site. So 753 installed but it says 720. Also 98SE2ME Pinball version overrides my Windows XP version. Can you add these files back gdi32.dll + gdi.exe 4.90.3003 Can you also add Winfile 4.90.0.3001 Can you downgrade patched vxdmon.vxd to allow System Restore to work.

Thanks what i'm trying to do is install files that require IE 6. Once installed i want to remove the unecessary IE 6 files but keep the necessary files for Outlook Express, VPN etc.... What are the files i need to keep? I also have a copy of 98lite.

Better yet how do i convert this iso file to a img to load during windows setup?

I have a dosboot iso but i'm trying to add files to .The iso loads fine but when i try too add files before burning nero won't let me. Anyway around this?

You might want to add these files back because they do not cause power management problems GDI32.DLL + GDI.EXE 4.90.3003. The trick is to reset the power management features to something other than what you had it on then change it back. Sorry

I just got a refurbished laptop, Dell C600, the CPU is only at 750 Mhz. I was told I can only upgrade to 850 Mhz. I have the latest Bios, A23 and the memory is 256 MB. Everything else is OK, I just want to max out the memory and CPU.

@ MDGx i have installed from WinXP SP1 hotfix KB838989 USBEHCI.SYS 5.1.2600.1515 USBPORT.SYS 5.1.2600.1532 and they seem to work very well I have not witness any problems maybe you and others should test more (Double Check) just to make sure i'm not wrong.

Well i have a few dos games that i play and i would like to exceed maxium performance the games are Mortal Kombat 1 Mortal Kombat 2 Mortal Kombat 3 i'm aware of Dosbox but i prefer the true native dos instead of a emulator. So which files would you recommend i see the list but don't know which ones to choose from. I also have Mortal Kombat 4 Mortal Kombat Trilogy but they don't require dos. What apps do I need to run the Xbox 360 controller in DOS.

I was just given a Compaq Armada 7380DMT laptop and i wanted to know if it was possible to connect it to a Netgear Router because it has no usb slots for a wireless adapter.It has Win95 but i'm going to upgrade to Win98SE.

I figured out how to change the text in the system tray for the Xbox controller. Open X360CSA.EXE with resource hacker. Go to string table 69 1033. Change 1101 to Options Change 1102 to Load On Start (this feature doesn't work but the text looks better) Change 1103 to Exit. Thanx!

This version works with no problems usbport.sys 5.0.2195.6681 no lockups or bsod.

I was just looking at the WinXP SP3 and notice it has a lot more drivers added maybe when you get time maximus-decim you can add some of those newer drivers.

Did you also see the usbvideo.inf it also has drivers.
