Vektor's shell32 patch for .LNK vulnerability
PROBLEMCHYLD replied to Ninho's topic in Windows 2000/2003/NT4
Can your patch be slipstreamed? -
I have a HP 7160N original specs. I've added a Realtek 10/100/1000 PCI NIC. Everthing is working great. I have all drivers, chipsets etc.... I have installed Windows 2000 Server with Fdv fileset with all possible updates that I was able to find. I really need help configuring my server for file sharing. I would really like the securist setup if possible. I am behind a router.

98SE2ME = Killer Replacements: ME -> 98 SE
PROBLEMCHYLD replied to MDGx's topic in Pinned Topics regarding 9x/ME
Sorry I wasn't clear, what I mean is when I view a cab file in explorer.exe the extract button doesn't work. Replacing the WinME version of cabview.dll with the Win98SE version fixed that. -

I just bought a Dynex 2-Port USB 2.0 PCMCIA Notebook Card. I have NUSB/Usb20drv installed. My card is detected but in the device manager I have an exclamation mark for the USB 2.0 root hub. Here's a link to the win98 drivers. http://www.dynexproducts.com/cms/files/DX-UC202_Drivers.zip Its says I'm already using the best drivers so it won't install. -

PROBLEMCHYLD replied to MDGx's topic in Pinned Topics regarding 9x/ME
I have a issue I can not extract a file from a cab file after 98SE2ME is installed. -
Did you get it working by adding those lines in HIVECLS.INF?
-
Thanks jaclaz everything is working now. I really appreciate your help.
-
WHY? Meaning that your problem is that you ran it, most probably without knowing what you were doing and for NO apparent reason. jaclaz Beacause I thought it would fix my problem. Thats what happens when you think beacause apparently I don't know. Ok I compared the 2 files whatever with HXD so what do I do now.
-
Jaclaz I compare the files and yes things are different. I ran a program called testdisk and here is my problem. I only have 1 hard drive in my laptop and no partition that I'm aware of. So I don't understand why a drive the say NTFS is coming up.
-
Ok, ok jaclaz, the main thing to do is don't panic. Lol. I have downloaded the HXD disk editor. Now whats next.
-
I ran Ranish Partition Manager and below is a bit map of whats going on. Thanks for trying to help me.

Maximus-Decim Native USB Drivers
PROBLEMCHYLD replied to maximus-decim's topic in Windows 9x Member Projects
Well, this is the thing, I bought a DS Iplayer and I'm going to store it with Avi and mp3s. I got it yesterday from China, which shipped like in 8 days. Its supports fat16\32.The microSD card is from my girlfriend phone. Its fat16 so I read somewhere saying that I should use fat32 because of the large movie files. I plan on getting a 32gb SDHC card. So before I format her card, until i get mine, I would like to know the way to go. Thanks everybody, and thank you china for the DS Iplayer. -
