I just did a clean install and i tryed both fixes URLMONFX.EXE and manually replace and i still get the windows update error

1 last thing guys I wanna change all my default 98SE icons to all the default Windows XP icons. Is that possible to do without a unofficial pack or a 3rd party app. Thats all i want. No GUI change or nothing else just the icons.Please some1 help me out.

I notice when searching the forums there are duplicate topics with duplicate answers. Now i was wonderin the great mods on this forum could maybe organize a lil bit better meaning if i do a search for RENAME START BUTTON i should get 1 topic with many different methods/answers but instead i get 20 topics with the same methods/answers but different wording and it becomes a hassle when i'm searchin because its more reading than whats really needed. I agree with you guys 100%. But their should be a lite version too. A version with only updates.No Notepad no extra option, no extra tools etc.... JUST SYSTEM UPDATES. I think more people like me just wanna download 1 file to install everything 1st time around with no reboot hassle after every other update u feel me. This should be the BIG 1. Anybody can be the best hacker. its how well you apply yourself and master the skill. That means Chinese, Russians,Americans,English etc. sometimes statistics can be wrong.If you are like me, you will keep a open mind about everything or be left in the dark. And the best hacker in the world would never get caught. He/She would always be 10 steps ahead no matter what situation.

Where is the logo on the start button in WinXP located. I wanna replace the 98 with the XP one. I know this is a 98SE thread so bear with me.

Are their other remedies besides 98lite to slim down windows. I think its a** backwards to add a program just to remove one. But to each is own.

Great Update I like to report a small bug. Whenever I update my 98SE2ME i always have to re-install Maximum-Decim Native USB Drivers. Is it a way to fix this so i don't always have to re-install 1 after the other.I think the WinME files overide some of the Maximum-Decim Native USB Drivers. Thanks

Upnp does work on 98SE. I haven't witness any bugs or errors.
