Can I add updates like Dcom and DXM9X etc. to this even though they requires a reboot after its installation.

I'm trying to turn off that nagging Version Conflict Manager thats keeps asking me do i want to keep this file beause its newer.I want it to automatically detect and keep the newer files automatically wothout promptin me and replace the older files auotmatically.Is it possible.

@ 5eraph Some computers are a great distance and some are in a near by radius. @ rendrag I already have 6 computers on the network with a Linsys WRT54G Router and it has support for VPN. now the other computers I want to add all uses modems except 2 that uses dial up and thats a XP and a 98se.I was leanin towards the VPN but the 98 computers that uses modems don't have the software i need.So i was thinking maybe ICS. I hope this is detail enuff.

I'm going to add many more computers 2 my network and trying 2 find the best solution for addin 98SE/ME/NT4/2000/XP computers to my router network. Please I neeeed ur feedback. File sharing and gaming will be the sole purpose for this NETWORK.

after leaving my usb flash drive in over a period of time it creates a temp folder on the flash drive and data is writing to it allowing me not to unplug or shut it down.I have to snatch it out just to close it or restart my computer.

I don't know if this is a permanent fix but i got my network working seein all computer from both sides. What i did was went 2 the C:\windows and run Winipcfg.exe Release all then renew all.Then it started working again. And yes the XP computeris the host.

Its 2 plugs on the inside of your telephone box on the outside of your house you have to unplug.Then hook up your vongage box to the modem and you should be set. leave all the phones plug in.you have to test the chords 1 by 1 when you unplung them to see if you still have a telephone connection. What about adding Resource Meter and CDPLAYER from Win Me. EDIT O.K MDGx heres what i was think'n if u decide to change the banner Make the banner black, fadin out towards the top 98SE2ME in Dark gold letters & Killer Replacements in Red letters with the font style thats used 4 Millennium Edition get rid of the whole Windows 98 Second Edition stuff after all we r using Killer Replacements. Just my 2 cents.

I'm sorry i don't know how 2 post a Gif screenshot. but what i mean is when you click the start button the menu comes up and it has Windows98Second edition on the banner.I meant replacing 98 second edition with 98se2me killer replacements.

Suggestion Why don't u change the start banner to read 98SE2ME Killer Replacements I think it would be cool somethin like a signature thing.

No we didn't pay for the tech but the tech guy wasn't from vonage. It was a tech from my sisters job.Vonage is not going to send u a tech either do it yourself or have somebody that know this kinda of stuff do it for you.

I have vonage and yes you will be able to use all the other phones in the house with the 1 router box that they give you with no additional hardware. I have 2 cordless phones that work with vonage. But keep in mind a TECH hook our system up.
