I think its a good idea to have a SP with IE6 and all updates. 1 have to consider some people don't have the internet meanin they can't keep they machine in top shape.But if 1 have a SP with all updates maybe 1 can save it to a cd or usb drive.But I support u guys 1000% on whatever u do.

No let me rephrase I have 6 computers and want to add 2 more additional to make 8 all together. Main computer connects to the router and modem, the other 5 are wireless.The 2 additionals i want to add uses modems. They are about a 15 mile radius away.

Will I be able to istall all updates and software with it being this small.

I too wish zipfldr.dll could support the formats such as 7z. I hate using 3rd party apps.But i will if its necessary. IMO I would love to have all windows components without the 3rd party S!@T

I want to make a USP with the Diskclean up add-ons 1.2mb and Maintenance wizard 0.1mb These tools are useful if u don't already have a similiar tool. Yes, I know, but if using the XP files the settings are not kept [like chat, sound, etc], you need to reset them [including the starting nag boxes] every time you run those game executables.All settings remain the same way they were set last if using WinME files. BTW: I haven't noticed any faster performance when using the XP files. I found that after the second time of settin them you don't have to set them anymore. Just in case you change your mind. Have you ever consider replacing Character Map with Extended Character Map. I got it from your site.I aware of its existence others may not be.

Are you sure this is a Pentium Pro based system?yes Compaq Deskpro 2000 M6200/2500/cd dom Intel inside Pentium Pro I guess the settins on the inside of the case is for when i upgrade.

Ok ladies and Gentlemen I have found a PentiumII Overdrive for $80 and a Pentium Pro 200MHz w/ 1MB for $50 let me kno wich is better. Never mind the price becuz its not a issue It uses dimm memory can 1 recommend good memory

So what u r sayin is that the Pentium Pro 200MHz w/ 1MB Cache more recommended than the PentiumII Overdrive

Its a deskpro 2000, 6200series. I will be using it for minor stuff like testin and surfin the net nothin major but i will like it upgraded.
