We get lots of bad traffic from your netblock. So I had to block a lot of IPs and you fall within the range (but don't appear to be one of the bad guys). I'm trying a new trick to allow you through while still blocking the baddies. Please let me know if you still can't load the page. If it doesn't work, I'll change the ACL for your netblock. Sorry for the trouble, but we have to defend the site from attackers.

What browser are you using?

@0d14r3: I've found three IPs that you've used recently (on this board) and none of them are blocked by the hfslip.org server. You seem to be accessing us through a caching proxy, so it is possible that the proxy's IP has been blocked or the proxy has some other problem. Do you know the IP of that proxy?

Make it a valuable resource that people read and link to. There are some search engine submission tools and tactics, but nothing is as effective as having a truly valuable site, IMHO.

This is happening to my account again. Still logged in to the forum, but no longer logged into the front page. Tried logging in (and waiting a bit) but no luck. <edit> ...hour or so later, and no change. Having a hard time diagnosing the problem.

I was having this problem, too. I was logged into the forum, but not the front page. I tried logging in via the front page link, but that didn't help. ...a couple of minutes later... But I checked again before hitting "Add reply" here and now everything seems fine.

Anything can be introduced as evidence in court, pending the judge's approval. I was trying to say that it might not be convincing/useful evidence against a defendant.

Who is that question for? I don't think anyone here has had this happen I've read that as well. They've had several bad cases against people who seemed quite innocent. You are right that they don't seem to care much. Their tactic is to out-spend you and hope you settle out of court. My previous post was intended to mean that they shouldn't *really* have a case against someone who had their files stolen. That doesn't stop them from suing you anyway and making it cheaper to settle than to defend your innocence.

Who is writing that? Can the *AA really count on that as evidence in court? I don't think it would help their case since the files could be stolen instead of purposefully shared. People's computers get hacked and their files stolen all the time. eg, If someone steals your car and goes joyriding, do you have to pay their speeding ticket?
