  1. REG ADD %KEY%\002 /VE /D "Acrobat Reader 6.0.1 Nederlands" /f REG ADD %KEY%\002 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\Install\AdobeReader6NL\AdbeRdr60_nld.exe -p"-s /v\"/qn\""" /f should be REG ADD %KEY%\002 /VE /D "Acrobat Reader 6.0.1 Nederlands" /f REG ADD %KEY%\002 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\Install\AdobeReader6NL\AdbeRdr60_nld.exe -p\"-s /v\"/qn\"\"" /f REG ADD %KEY%\008 /VE /D "Microsoft .Net 1.1 Nederlands SP1 Update" /f REG ADD %KEY%\008 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\Install\NetFrameworkDutch\NDP1.1sp1-KB867460-X86.exe /qb" /f May not work. I have yet to test the SP1 switches, but considering it's an EXE file, you may need something else besides just /qb Besides that, I don't see anything that stands out to me. All the other switches look right. You really should look into buying TweakNow Powerpack though..... @battleangel3222 Tru, i don't have them ALL memorized, but I have a good majority of them. **** photographic memory..... too bad it NEVER works on tests.... Also, usually in VirtualPC a full run takes more then 20 minutes, atleast for me. I can do a reinstall in under 20 minutes with all my software, but the virtual always takes atleast twice as long....
  2. Get me a list of the files/URLs and I'll add them to the first post. However, the most common users are moving to SP2, so it seemed appropriate to move on to SP2. If you give me the links and such, I'll also edit the first post in the new Hotfix thread ot link back to this one.
  3. is RUnOnceEX.cmd in $OEM$?
  4. if you have commands in your file that are for RUNONCEEX like you have, execute the CMD file from cmdlines.txt.If you instead use conventional batch scripting with start /wait someprogram.exe Then use GUIRunOnce. The two run at the same time, but how they run is different. RunDLL32 executes the RunOnceEX keys the same time as GUIRunOnce, but the keys have to be PRESENT before it executes which is why they're imported at CMDLINES.TXT
  5. REG ADD %KEY%\135 /V 1 /D "%CDROM%\Software\Winamp\Winamp5.05.msi /qn INI="%CDROM%\Software\Winamp\winamp.ini"" /f should be REG ADD %KEY%\135 /V 1 /D "%CDROM%\Software\Winamp\Winamp5.05.msi /qn INI=\"%CDROM%\Software\Winamp\winamp.ini\"" /f Also disable Norton or install it afterwards. THe "malicious" script is just a VBS file that copies the INI file from your specified location to mine. That's it.
  6. EVerything looks find (mind you I'm glancing), but the question is when are you expecting it to run? The way you have it, it should Run when the system restarts after setup.
  7. Topic Closed. THe site is there for WINDOWS 2000!! Second, converting a CD from Retail to VLK is illegal as it breaks the EULA YOU AGREE to. To continue this topic would break the rules, so I'm ending it here.
  8. what kind of CD are you making? Did you alter the structure in anyway? What is your directories like? These are important questions. If nothing else, try downloading the CDIMAGE zil file fromt eh website and run it.
  9. not that I'm aware of.... His site has said it's not going ot be updated anymore for quite some time.... perhaps gosh just decided to move.....it happens.
  10. use CDIMAGE. WinISO's method as well as UltraISO's could cause problems as their comparisons are done by file size and filename but not hashes.
  11. Yes, those should be there. I assume you're talking about the two boxes that popin and out at about T-14? Yes. Not sure where they're from, but they're meant to be there.
  12. @jdoe in the search box, have it display the POST not the thread, and you'll find it faster.
  13. better to ask in the WPI thread.
  14. specifically by jdeboeck or something like that. As for doing it for other OSs like 98, the next version isn't likely to even be INSTALLABLE on 98. Plus everything is in those cab files. 2000 , perhaps, might be the same as XP's. 2003 might be the same.
  15. Post it's only 33 pages long.... the XPCREATE thread easily topped that.....
  16. is the error a CDShell message or what? screenshot?
  17. did you do what the website said?
  18. I'll edit this post later if there are any errors... Any particular test set you would prefer? XP CD, with SP1? Or going to the latest and greatest? As just slipstreaming SP2 shouldn't cause any problems. DO you want this done on 2003 and 2000? Any idea what the hotfix lists are gonna be ready? Just a quick test....and I attached the Error Log. WIth no Hotfix list downloaded, it can't download the hotfix list, however it errors out saying it's unable to download the service pack file. Perhaps a check and proper error outputted. Or if it can't download the hotfix file or something, it then reverts to using the files already there. LOGFILES.CAB
  19. the theme might not apply if there is a single line wrong. Wrong path or mystype. During windows you can apply it yourself, but setup needs the file to have no errors.
  20. just making sure I didn't miss something.... are the seriously no bugs?
  21. that's indeed pretty cool. I'm guessing this is run from a WinPE environment? Either that or from SOME current running OS.
  22. how many times must I say this (though you probally wouldn't have known). Every toolbar location and stats are saved in the SAME place as how you would activate the Quicklaunch bar. If you want the click launch bar, activate it, and activate the virtualmachine one. Export the key ToolBarXP (just do a search in RegEdit) and export that key, and reimport during installation.
  23. It wasn't a hack, but the general post was a "if you have this CD, here's how you can get out the tablet part and update it". If you get my drift. But yeah, closing now. Mute point.
  24. problem fixed
  25. post you did say... "Grab a copy of ***** 5in1 CD" which in of itself is warez, and then you went on how to rip it out of the CD. The true tabletpc users should have CDs already which they can just apply the SP2 to like any other CD.
